A collection of scrapbooks numbered 1-12 containing 1007 examples of the cartoon ⁰́₋Czy wiecie, ¿ơe⁰́Œ⁰́₊by Henryk Archacki for the period 1931-1953. Book 12 also contains photographs and articles from the newspaper Dziennik dla Wszystkich related to the local Polish community and internataional events related to Polish-Americans.

Henry Archacki (b. 1907), a Polish American artist, journalist, publisher, and illustrator, was born in Warsaw, Poland, and came to the United States as an infant. His family settled in Chicago, Ill., where Archacki showed an early aptitude for art and journalism. He worked as sports reporter for Dziennik Związkowy (Chicago), and in 1930 went to New York as head artist for the Brooklyn branch of the paper.
